You have now completed an Energy Audit on a second home that we have owned. The information breakdown you provided allowed us to identify specific areas of our homes that needed attention.

The Blower Door Test with Infrared Camera identified weak areas of insulation and weather stripping. Simply being able to feel the air flow from areas like fireplace heatilator vents and around ceiling fixtures, etc. was an education in itself.

The report you provided was very useful in that it indicated specific areas needing attention, what type of attention was needed, cost and payback period. We had assumed we would need to spend a lot of money on new windows in our 40 year old home, but your report indicated that the heat loss with double hung windows and storms was not much worse than new windows would be, so we spent our money in areas that improved our comfort level and reduced utility costs more than windows.
